Service Information for Robert (Muneer) McAdams-Mahmoud
“A celebration of life for Mr. Robert (Muneer) McAdams Mahmoud will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Atlanta Masjid, 560 Fayetteville Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30316. Interment at Salaam Gardens, 3095 Jonesboro Road SE, Atlanta, GA 30354.
For only family members who wish, viewing of his body will take place before he is finally shrouded, on Saturday, February 24th at 3:00pm at Young Funeral Home at 1107 Hank Aaron Dr., Atlanta. Please arrive no later than 2:30pm.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the masjid at no later than 12:30pm on Sunday for the janazah service, which will take place at 1:00 p.m. on the day of the service for a brief Islamic prayer.
[NOTE: The body will be shrouded following Islamic tradition; attendees won’t be able to see the body].
Family is invited to come to the burial site (Salaam Gardens) to lay the body to rest immediately after the ceremonial janazah prayer service on Sunday.
We invite all family and friends to join us at the celebration of life & repast at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Atlanta Masjid, where we will share music, food, memories and fellowship. Modest attire is encouraged, no footwear will be allowed inside the janazah service area. Please have flowers sent to the Young funeral home by Saturday at 5pm.”
