Obituary for Mava D Slemp
Mava Slemp passed away peacefully March 21. 2016.

Mava’s life will celebrated Sunday, April 17th at 2:00pm. Her service will be held at the Frist Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida where she was an active member.

Mava’s warm spirit coupled with a servant’s heart was truly a blessing to many. She loved to worship her Savior and instilled a Godly upbringing into her children.

She will be missed by all those whom she influenced and taught over the past twenty years. She had a true passion for teaching and cared about her “children” until the very end.

Mava loved Live Oak, where she lived for over fifty years. She was very involved in the community and held leadership position in several organizations. She reached out to those in need, her loving spirit and gentle nature was an inspiration.

Mava is survived by her children, Scott and Patti and their spouses Robin and Steve. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Kelli and her great granddaughter Addison; her grandson Preston and his fiancée Anna. She is survived by two sisters, Charlotte Warren of Virginia and Georgia Coye and her husband Michael of California.
