Obituary for Dr.Gary L. Sanford
Dr. Gary L Sanford ξ65 of College Park passed away on January ξ10 2016 after a brief illness. He was born in Birmingham AL on June 16,1950 ξHe is a Graduate of Miles College and received his PhD from Brown University. Dr. Sanford was a Professor and Researcher in the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Immunology at Morehouse School of Medicine. He was a member of Friendship Community Church and was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend and Teacher. Surviving are his wife Birdie M. Sanford, son Gary M. Sanford( LaKrystle ) Granddaughter Leira and 1 brother Willie Sanford. And a host of other relatives ,friends and colleagues. A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday January ξ16,2016 2pm at Friendship Community Church ξ4141 Old Fairburn Rd. College Park Ga. Rev. Donald ξE. Bryant, Pastor ξOfficiating. Family and friends will assemble at the church at 130pm.In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Miles College Birmingham AL. Visitation ξwill be held Friday January ξ15, 2016 from 6 until ξ7 in our Chapelξ
